Washing TL wheels

Hi guys, I just bought an '04 TL with stock wheels and did my first real wash of it this weekend. The wheels were a mess! I did my best, but was killing my hands trying to get deep in the back of the rims behind the spokes. How do you guys clean there? Are there any special tools you use for reaching back there? Thanks.

If you want to do a full wheel clean, take the thing off the rims. Or get one of those power sticks (cant recall exact name) found at exceldetail.com

or you can just take off the wheel.
most people have a good jack in the garage, get the car up!
it will allow you to check your tire wear and also let you clean the inside of the fender.

Best bet is to remove the wheels as stated in the previous post. Chances are the inside area of the wheel hasn't been cleaned at all. This process will also afford you to clean the inside of the tire as well as the fender wells.
