Can I wash the car with swarms of gnats around? They land on the car and I don't want them bothering me while I am washing the car, and I might squish them during the process leaving dead bugs all over the car. Should I go for it or wait a few more days until the wash?

How about picking a different time of the day? You could always wash, re-rinse, and maybe sneek away to a different location to dry?

If they're there when you're washing your car, changing the date won't do anything. They'll still be there 2 or 3 days later. Just try to change the location.

If you wait until a day with a light breeze they shouldn't be a problem. Gnats aren't known to be strong flyers.
