Course ya can! I have even had pads that have " sat a little bit", that completely recovered with a little soaking in dish soap, then rinsed and rewashed. Pads normally last quite a while, meaning at least a dozen cars. Sun and product drying out are a pads enemies. So once your done using them, toss them in a bucket of water at least until you can get to them. Erasure pads have a chemical resistant glue used to adhere the hook and loop backing. They are pretty tough cookies!

I found that danase pad cleaner is a good investment, helps get the products out of the pads while soaking them

I usually wash mine by hand with a microfiber cleaner. DO NOT machine dry...I have had the glue holding the velcro backing separate from the pad before due to the heat.
