Used Lexol Leather Conditioner on Dash - Noticed Spotting
Hi -
Yesterday, I used Lexol Leather Conditioner for the first time on my dash. It looked nice, but late this afternoon, I noticed spotting. Is the spotting due to the Lexol, or is it because I haven't used leather conditioner on it before?

I'm not so sure you should put it on the dash, since the dash isn't leather. I'm well aware it says you can on the bottle, but...
When used on the seats, I do notice it needs to be massaged in & buffed out pretty well. Usually doesn't come right off with the first toweling, etc.

The dash is not leather. I wouldn't use Lexol. Check out this thread on dash protectants.
I'd wait before applying anything else on top of the Lexol. Let it break down and wear off. Maybe clean the dash with Simple Green or a mild citrus degreaser.
Also, a micro-fiber towel and a little water may reduce some of the spotting.

How long will depend on the weather, where you park, how much you put on.
I find any spots from too much Lexol on the leather clear up within a week during the summer. A dash may take longer. Using a very mild, diluted cleanser may help.
Applying a protectant too soon may enhace the spots and take longer to even out.
