I have not been able to complete a detail due to all the rain here - finally we got a nice weekend - this is

4* Platinum Auto Wash
Meguiars Scratch X on hood, roof and trunk by PC
Meguairs Color X on the whole car by PC
2 Coats of 4* Platinum Ultimate Paint Protection (48 hours apart)

then this weekend

4* Wash again -

then topped it off with Top of the Line Trade Secret (an awesome Carnuba)
Wheels are cleaned and a coat of Trade Secret

Tires are cleaned with black magic tire cleaner then Simoniz High Gloss tire shine (cheap - 3 bucks at Autozone last time I bought some) -

I let someone borrow my car - as a thank you he got it washed - at the BP WASH! you know those ones with the giant weed wackers for srcubbers - I used the scratch X and Color X to get rid of my new lil friends

Color X is a great chemical cleaner that leaves behind a polymer protectant (like Klasse AIO).

 

I hate thoes damn car washes, they should be banned. I guess you won't be lending the car to your friend anymore..

yah no more - it was a nice gesture but dang it did a number on the car - just once!! Imagine all those people going through it all the time!
