I couldn't find this anywhere, even though I read it awhile back on here. But here it goes:

What are the pros/cons to car covers?

and

Is it worth having one if your car is gonna be outside almost 24/7?

I realize there's cons about scratching the paint if your pain isn't clean when u put the cover on, etc. - but just looking for your guys' opinions!

 

If your car is outside 24/7, I would definetly look into getting one. Pros: Interior and Exterior protection Cons: PITA, may cause surface damage

If your surface is sealed and protected, I think any type of damage is minimized when using a car cover. The material lining used will also protect/minimize surface damage. And besides, most surface damage (light scratches, marring) can be removed using the right products and tools or by an experienced detailer.
