Ok...lame title..I know..BUT I'm planning on completely washing and polishing and making the black paint on my car look like glass again. I havent been taking care of it that often recently, taking it to drive-thru car washes and keeping it filthy for a bit, but time to turn that around.
I have some overspray becuse I was painting something and even after covering it, it got on still. I'm guessing claying should take that right off?
Start off with a nice thorough wash, clay the whole car, polish out the fine scratches, and then wax? What do you guys think? Any advice...Cause I need it haha

Im certainly happy you have decided to tackle it! Maintaining black is difficult enough. But once its been neglected, its an even bigger chore. You can make a difference, even by hand, but best results and the most rewarding are accomplished via machine. As long as were in "help me mode" let me recommend a UDM, a light to medium abrasive polish, such as Optimum Compound or Four Star Medium Cut Compound, and a nice synthetic sealant to get ya through the winter.
