I usually Seal my TL Once every 8 weeks.
I use Mothers Advanced Top Coat in between those weeks weekly!
I clay bar when the surface needs it. Time Pending!!!

no. Sounds good to me. As long as you enjoy doing the work don't worry what others think.

 

yea, youre fine. you're not doing any damage by keeping it clean. it would be different if you were using harsher polishes

Find a happy median though. Too much attention, can lead to "too much attention marring".
Get on a regimine, and stick to it. I like to wash (when possible) and I always add some protection with every wash, usually in a spray form. I like using Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection Spray or Duragloss AquaWax. "Clean" paint twice yearly, and polish twice yearly.

8 weeks is good. If I wash weekly, I seal every 8 weeks. But if I wash every 4 weeks, I have to seal each time I wash as the sealant is affected by waterspots and other crap on the paint.

 

Id use the Mothers Top Coat every other week..........
