Today’s Amateur Detail
Had a chance to detail a BMW 325i today, beautiful car in a terrible need for a detail, owner had no knowledge in how to properly maintain the paint; she was washing the vehicle with a sponge, and drying with a towel. I gave it a thorough detail and gave her some much needed advice on paint maintence and care.
Here are some pictures;
I would say I got 70-75% of the defects out of the paint, this is what I had to start with...
Thats all guys, thanks

She must be a very good friend to get her car brought back to life like that.
I'm still looking for the pics of the "amateur detail". I can only see the "professional detail" pics.
The BMW "jet black" tends to be very soft and a pain in the @SS to correct. The "black sapphire" is harder and more detail friendly.

Very nice work! Hats off to you...........Its not so bad when you have a nice product selection to go with as well. The Excel-Erasures and Optimum are wonderful products to work with, and the UDM aint too bad either!
A word on black paint...........I friggin hate it..........lol
As for Bimmer black, its been a handful for me also. Its real hard to use anything but yellow/orange and white with that CC. You really need firm pads to abrade the abrasives.
