Tire Wet on paint
Tire Wet on paint
I recently used Turtle Wax tire wet on my tires. It was the spray on kind, and i think i used too much. The last time i washed my car i noticed a bunch of little black spots on my doors, which came from the tires as they spun. I really have to scrub to get them off, and was wondering if there was an easier way to get it off. Any ideas? i used Rain-x bug and tar remover with no luck btw.
If it helps, i drive an 04 Rsx that is silver

Hope this helps.
Many tire dressing contain solvent based silicones, which sad to say, stain paint. Try some IPA (Common household rubbing alcohol, not whiskey) straight from the bottle on a MF or soft towel, blot and wipe. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
