Time to clean MY car! 2007 TL Type S.
I've been posting a lot of customers' cars lately, so I figured that I would clean mine up and snap a few photos.
I just did a quick 1Z perls wash, and applied a coat of Opti-Seal. This is my first time using OS, and I have to say that I am very impressed! I'm going to be using it on a few customers' cars this weekend.
The Opti Seal really makes the blue flake pop in the sunlight!

OS is incredibly EZ to use. I do recommend a MF mit however. Which is contrary to the labels instructions.
I didnt thin application by a foam applicator was a good idea, so I would spritz occasionally on a panel, as well as on the MF mit, ten wipe in/off. Wallah. The one thing I like about OS is its incredible lack of dust attraction.
I could learn a thing or two from your camera work, pics look stellar for sure. And im sure thats very indicative of actual results!

I applied it with foam, but then went back over it about 20 minutes later with a MF towel that was spritzed (once) with OCW.

I've seen your posts on some of the other forums. Great work by the way.
How is the P21S 100% holding up? I still can't bring myself to use a carnauba wax anymore. I'm all about longevity nowadays. The Fuzion wax seems to be a good compromise but the $175 price tag is .
I also picked up a Canon Digital Rebel. I'll snap a few pics of the my TL-S once I get the hang of it. It's a big step up from my old point and shoot.

I understand the mindset for those who use the expensive stuff. "Well if it costs more then others, it must be great!"
Last I knew of, the Chevy Corvette ZR1 had the fastest lap at Nurburgring! (Until Nissan lets the GT-R Spec-V loose)
Not the Enzo Ferraris or Carerra GT, LP 640 Lambo, Koenigsegg CCX, Aston Martin, Bugatti etc.........

SweetJazz...I've been using Optimum Car Wax a lot lately. It's super easy to use, it's inexpensive, and it looks great. I've been saving the 100% for more special occasions, and for special jobs (I have a 1968 Porsche to do next weekend, and it's got 100% written all over it!).
PortlandRL...yes, that is strange. See I'm not a high roller like you, so I wouldn't know how much flake is in such a fine car like the RL!

I have been using Meguiars poly detail spray(after car wash). I think I am going to try applying opti-seal to the surface and use Finish Kare 425 on the surface after each car wash. Any feedback from anyone, or comments to this procedure for maximum look and protection? There is very little write up on Optimum Opti-seal and kind of a little weary of it!?
