For those that protect their dash...

How do you keep from getting your protectant all over the hard black bezel plastic???

I've done nothing to my dash for years save for a damp sponge for fear of of leaving irreversible smears on the bezel plastic and discoloring it.

not familiar with the term "bezel" do you mean the "faux-wood" ? If not do you mean the hard black plastic that the dash is moslt made up of? (ie. radio/heating controls, the black surrounding the gauges)

If it's plastic, there are good plastic detailers out there. I won't start the "ramble" until I know what you mean...

Yes, I mean the hard black plastic that surrounds the instruments and comprises the vents.

I prefer to just wipe down with a very diluted all purpose cleaner and microfiber....I dont like to put any chemicals on afterwards, just a cleaning.....
