Tar removal from fender liner

I just spent 4hrs removing tar from the painted surfaces of my car. Now I need some help getting the tar off the fender liners. I would like something a little less labor intensive than removing it from the paint, I'm old and tired.

I hate road work where they route you through the fresh tar

Kerosene works.

Used it on my black maxima after some nasty road work.
