Supplies needed for a 09 tsx

Hey guys i was wondering what are some things that i'll need to get to maintain a new tsx i just bought a couple weeks ago. i just placed and order for some lexol and zaino leather cleaner/ conditioner too see what works best. i also had a couple questions about maintaining the car.
1.what's best stuff to clean the dash and the armrests/leather on the door panels? should i go to acura and buy their stuff?
2. what's the best cleaner / conditioner for the leather and how often should i clean and condition it?
3. is it safe to clay bar a car this new? i found some rail dust and stuff settled into some of the horizontal areas of paint... *car sat in the lot for a while*
thanks for the help

I could totally suggest anything and everything to you but it would be nice if you could give us a budget to work with.

i clayed my car right off the showroom floor....

dont worry so much about conditioning the leather in your car....half of its not even leather, and the parts that are real leather are sealed up in polyurethene...just keep them clean and dry....

We need to talk.....
No Im kidding, well I mean we should talk about supplies for your TSX.
As most on here will agree, proper car care starts with proper products. I cant think of an easier "tool" with a higher return then the UDM/PC. This is a Random Orbital polisher which is an absolute necessity when it comes to paint care. Is there an interest on your part? Otherwise we need to take a different approach then the ones most discussed here.

1.what's best stuff to clean the dash and the armrests/leather on the door panels? should i go to acura and buy their stuff?
Oh hell no, you might as well go to Pep Boys in your neighborhood and load up. The Acura product is probably no better then OTC. For Dash area and instrument panels, I have found nothing better then 1Z Cockpit Premium Cleaner, or Surf City Dash Away.
2. what's the best cleaner / conditioner for the leather and how often should i clean and condition it?
Nothing Like a monthly wipedown with a dampened microfiber towel, and a little leather conditioner or other protectant. Your leather is actually vinyl coated, essentially your are cleaning and conditioning this coating. I like Optimums Protectant.
3. is it safe to clay bar a car this new? i found some rail dust and stuff settled into some of the horizontal areas of paint... *car sat in the lot for a while*
Certainly! Might as well start taking care of it from the beginning!
thanks for the help
