Was your MF clean???

Have you washed your MF with other towels that had grunge like towels used for wheels, jambs etc??

So did you wash these new MFs? Typically you want to wash them before using them.

You also have to consider your technique and what environment you're in. The sun tends to show streaks the best just like swirls but you can get by with halogens.

Make sure your not doing it in the sun .. and spritz the glass then wipe it down and polish off the residue all at once.

sometimes when I have done my windows in a while I will have to use two sessions, one to get the initial grime off and then go back for a 2nd time to get clean. also the glass towels will help alot too and don't over use the product a little goes a long way.

i use newspaper and so far every time with the TL i need to do it twice. first time to get off the grime and second to clear the streaks

You'd be better off with a microfiber TDK. The key is to use very, very little glass cleaner. What you want is something short of damp. Wipe it down with the slightly damp side and then buff off with the clean and dry side.

Yeah I am thinking the windshield had a lot of dirt/oil on it that required a little more elbow grease then the rest of the windows. I usually go over my windshield with Stoners more then once in a cleaning.

First mistake is cleaning glass in the dark.

My question is did you put rain-x or any kind of car wash wax on your windows or car? If so that might be what's smearing
