You can check the Wash & Wax section of the forums.
I use Prima Epic which you can buy at Detailer's Domain. It's a synthetic wax and it's great. I also like Gold Class Meguiars Wax.
Spray wax is ok I guess, not to much experience with that. I'd recommend getting a Quick Detailer.

your car is good for abour 3-4 month, and this is a good time every 2 weeks to use the spray wax to make the wax coating stronger. Don't rely on spray wax alone.
If you want your car pain really like new, before doing all this job you better get a Dual orbiter machine like meguiars g110v2 (i own this one and is excellent)
http://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-G110v...0387697&sr=8-5
get meguiars 105 for cutting and 205 for polishing.
yellow pads for cutting and black pad for polishing
head over youtube and read some guides on how to use it, is very easy to use. you will have better than new like paint.
here is a pic when i did mine

Spray Wax isn't as efficient as anyone said. Most likely a quick spray and wipe after you wax. (With real Wax)
If your going to detailing route, I'd recommend a Porter Cable 7424XP which is by far the easiest thing to operate. Not only is it a good beginner buffer, but it is basically no way you can harm your paint by improper use unless of course you do it on purpose.

I was wondering if a car is garaged... is it really important to wax every 2-3 months. I drive my car mostly in the afternoon, even though i wax frequently i think i should not need too that much. The paint looks awesome, actually looks better then the most newer TL's i see around

i had the porter cable 7424xp and got rid of it for the meguiar g110v2. having experience both the meguiar is the better buy. You have more control over it and its quieter. the porter cable is cheaper ($30 less) and have more year warantee. Meguiars is also for beginners since is a DA. But either one is good.

Use a quality base wax, such as Duragloss 105, or Finish Kare 2180/1000p every season. Use spray waxes monthly to maintain your base coat.
Use quick detailers between washes for quick spruce ups or spot cleanings......
