Spotting after cleaning my interior...help!
This is going to sound like a dumb question, but I am new to the world of leather and cleaning it.
I recently purchased some Meguiars Leather Cleaner/Conditioner and Vinyl,Plastic & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner (Spray bottles)
But I noticed some dark spotting on the doors and the headrests a day after cleaning them.
It could have been overspray from the leather that got onto the vinyl (That leather spray goes all over the place, its a mess!). Or I might have to go over it again.
But now I'm not even sure whats vinyl and what isn't. Basically, if it ain't perforated, it's leather, right? Even the stuff on the door is all vinyl. Is this a safe assumption? If some of the vinyl spray got on the leather or vice versa, can I remove it with mild soap water?
Also, what is safe to use on the instrument panel and the radio area.
I'm thinking next time, I leave this to the professionals.

1. I would suggest using Meguiars Medallion Premium Leather Cleaner/Conditioner over the normal cleaner/conditioner.
2. Are you rubbing the cleaner/conditioner in, then buffing? It seems like you are not buffing it out with another towel.
3. I use Meg's professional vinyl rubber cleaner to do the dash and it works great. Again, after wipe it in...take the other side, or another clean towel to buff it.

Thanks Raptor, you were right, I wasn't buffing it out enough. Applied it again and everything looks great now!

In order to avoid spraying onto unwanted places such as the console and dash board. I would normally spray the product on a paper towel and then apply it evenly and buff it off with a cloth towel.
