Question Spider Webs........

Ok I have spider webs on one of my cars,

one of my question is: Is polish the only thing that can get this out? or is this what i should be using for that?

second: also I need the best drying towel, I've purchased three different kinds and I'm having no luck with any of them. My probelm is that which ever one I use it leaves streak marks, and i have to go over it serveral times before there out. (and I mean several)

and last but not least, third: quick detailers, are they worth it.. or not? and do you apply them when the car is wet?

thank you all in advance for the help!!!

1. Yes. There are fillers (pretty much self explanatory) and swirl mark removers (SMRs). I would also recommend a PC to assist in removing them. Removing swirls by hand can be done, however the process is very time consuming. The use of a polish will remove swirls.

2. A lot of folks will agree to this one. MF Waffle Weave - best drying towel around. Super absorbent and will not streak. I have 3-4 on hand at any given time. These are available at most of your online detailing sites.

3. Quick Detailers(QD)/Instant Detailers(ID) are time savers and used to maintain the gloss as well as prolong the existing coat of sealant/wax. It will give the finish the slickiness of a freshly cleaned car, can be used wet or dry and will take about 15-20 min on average to wipe on/wipe off.

You must have a PC like Hawhyen51 said. Unless you have super stamina and can move your arm at 6000rpm, use a PC (Porter Cable dual action polisher).

2) I second the MF waffle weave. I've tried absorders, natural chamois, microfibre chamois, the MF waffle weave is the best. Get more than one because once it is wet, you'll have to hang it to try. You can't squeeze the water out by hand.

I agree with the others: Microfiber Waffle Weave drying towels are the best way to go. I bought mine from: http://www.pakshak.com/waffle-weave-...l-16x16-1.html

Quick detailers are a great product. I use them in between waxing to bring back that "pop" that a freshly waxed car usually displays. Quick detailers are used after washing and drying the car.

You may wish to consider revising your wash techniques also.....Spider webbing can also come from inappropriate washing methods....
2 buckets
Sheepskin washmits
Waffle Weave drying towels
Quick Detailer and/or spray sealants.
All of the above will aid your desired results.....
