spider/circle flaws in paint? anything.

I drive a 97 cl and and paint is in pretty good condition, the only thing that bugs me is that after it is washed. Where the sun reflects off of the car, i get those circular scratches in it. I have heard them called spider cracks but i dont know if thats right. anywho, is there anything that i can do about them. Little things bug me and i really want to get rid of them. thanx

Yea, its called a "spider web crack" Its basically your clear coat being broken down a little. There is nothing you can do about it, just deal with it. Unless of course, u wanna re-clear the car.

Are you sure you aren't just talking about about swirl marks? or are they deeper than that? Can you feel them if you run your fingernail across it?

You should be able to fill in hairline swirls with something like Scratch-X or a polish/wax that fills.

Zaino polish has a product that I use on my 97 CL. It had some of these on the trunk area and as time went on and each new coat of polish the went away or filled in.

if u see swirls, it's damaged...the bigger the swirls, the greater the damage, I used meg's scratch remover and it took some my scratches away, but u can't get rid of it unless u redo ur whole car :-D...good luck bro
