So cal. firestorm

All you So Cal. TSX'ers, do you guys wash your car daily due to the ashes/particles covering your car because of the fires. I want to wash it but I kind of want to wait until it stops. It's supposed to go on for at least another week. Do you know if the ashes will do harm to the cars paint if I wait. Should I just wash it daily? What are you guys doing during this situation we are in? Thanks yo!

No, water is not in short supply. They just wanted us to conserve water so the fireman has ample water to fight the fire with. Anyways I gave up and just washed it. But then the next day it freakin drizzled

Ash is corrosive, so I would at least use a duster to get the ashes off the paint. Make sure you have a good coat of wax to protect the paint.

Should wash your car, make sure to dry it promptly. Ash mixed with water is a no-no.
