Try spraying Lysol or some other disenfectant/deodorizer into the fresh air intake vents just below the widshield with the fan set on high.

Fabreez works wonders :P They now carry one specifically for cars, but the regular one probably does the job just as well.

I have heard that a portable ozone generator would work . They can be rented out and you let it run all night in your car. You could also check with cleaning contractors specialising in cleaning buildings after fire or flooding they have some potent air cleaning product

some detail shop provide such services, but what they do is pump ozone into your car. i think there are also some stuff you can buy at az for treating such issue. i do not smoke and i found the smell very very unpleasant, if i drove friend who smoke i would left a little gap on all the windows when i parked the car overnight.

i will prefer NOT to let ozone stay in the car too long, Ozone or UV is very very bad for plastic, especially vynal...... high concentration is bad for health as well..

hope this helps!!

Ozone (O3) is a very strong oxidant, so it will attack anything that can be oxidized (any metal for instance, organics or living organism). It is also deadly but very unstable (O3 wants to revert back to O2). So if you pumped ozone into your car it will disappear quickly as soon as you open up doors.
