Semi-nuby question
Semi-nuby question
I am always careful when hand washing my NBP TXS to just go in one direction-lengthwise with the sheepskin mitt. Today I was applying some 4*UPP by hand and doing it like when I wash the car. I had washed the car first.
The thought occurred to me that I could get a more even application by using something close to a circular motion and then doing the same when removing the haze. After all an orbital buffer isn't going in a straight line. Does that make sense and will doing it with a circular motion, not introduce scratches or whatever you want to call them?
Have two coats of 4*UPP on it and am planning to put a layer of Danase Wet Glaze on tomorrow (about 24 hrs after finishing the UPP application.

I believe that as long as you are applying your sealant to a properly prepped and contaminant free surface, you should not introduce any (new) scratches/swirls.
Also, as long as what you are using to apply and remove the sealant is non-abrasive you should be good.

Thanks to all. I'm using a yellow sponge to apply and microfiber towels to remove. I started to clay the car and didn't pick up anything on the trunk lid, so I got lazy and didn't do it this time. I did last year. I did use Klasse AIO before the 4*UPP.
The application with a circular motion and removal in straight lines sounds like a good approach.
