Scuffed door - how to clean up (Help please)
It's been a while since I've been on the forum. My sister, who drives a 2008 Honda Accord sedan had basically scraped her car along a pillar in a parking garage. It was in downtown LA so all those condo garages tend to be somewhat small.
SO there is some of the pillar residue still on the door. If you look closely at the picture, some of the car paint had come off as well.
This may be a dumb question but what would be the best way to clean off the residue without further damaging/removing the paint?
Would a normal car wash get it off or is there a specific recommended way in order to go about this?
After getting the residue off then we will have to consider priming and spraying some factory color paint onto the scuffed areas.
Thanks for your help guys.

First off get rid of the paint transfer by using ScratchX etc. then access the situation .. the pix are way to small to see anything.
Once you remove the paint transfer if you can catch your fingernail in the scratches they are too deep to polish out. Polishing might reduce the visability some tho.
