So yesterday as I was driving on the highway, some big piece of wood-like thing came flying straight into my windshield. It was very very windy out and the piece of wood-like thing was going so fast that there was no time and no way to avoid it, so my windshiled took a hit. I thought it was over for my windshield.

After impact there were scratch marks that are about .5" wide all over the windshield, but after I got out of the car, most of it wiped off, not exactly what those were but seems like some layer of film like substance (maybe from my summer zaino job??).

Anyway, so there were still some scratch marks that I can see under the sunlight, and at light when there's streetlights outside, similar to swirl marks on the paint. Is there any way I can get rid of these scratches? Or at least improve it so that it doesn't glare at night time?
