Scratch and Dent
Scratch and Dent
Hey guys,
I know I already post this in the TSX forum but I am thinking just trying to tackle this myself if this is not too hard. Anyway problem is..I was backing out at the gas station and scratch my rear fender..got a big some dent and scratches..Should I just try to do a touch up paint for that spot or it is too deep for it? I got some of the minor scratch out. Thanks for looking

touch-up paint is my only solution now. I found those PDR guy (paintless dent repair) but it look like it wont be possible because it actually pushes my fender in..anyone in OC care to help me out??
OUCH! This brings back painful memories of a similar situation I had at a gas station. It looks like your car fared a little better than mine did though.

I did that last February, I believe the cost was $1300 to fix. They fixed the dent in the fender and repainted both the fender and bumper and replaced the tail light. I'd take it to a body shop if I were you because of the dents in your fender, but if you can't afford that right at the moment just put some touch up paint over the bare metal for now to keep it from rusting and maybe do a little wet sanding to hide the scratches. Good luck!
