Is this safe?

Was wondering if the stoner invisible glass safe for cleaning the nav screen, the plastic coverings over the speedometer and tachometer and for the headlights and taillights.

If it isn't, what product do you guy uses for those 3 things?

Pat should confirm, but it should be good for all the plastics. The nav should only need a moist microfiber.

+1. this is the only thing you should ever have to do to your nav screen! That is how we clean our nav screens at my detail shop.

^^^ I think it is, but I agree with the other guys on the Nav screen-just a soft, wet towel.

i wax my headlights and taillights. they still look brand new after 6 years of ownership. for most people the automated car washes and sun are their worst enemy!

I heard waxing headlights and tailights will cause the plastic to get foggy. I may be wrong though if nothing has happened to yours in six years.

And its all handwash for my baby.

The wax can actually remove the oxydation from the headlights.

I never use any sort of chemicals on the navi screen. As said above, a damp microfiber will do the trick just fine.

Never a problem for me.

'02 headlights look like new; same for the '07.

No, you want to avoid getting wax on your plastic/rubber pieces. It will turn them white and they can be a pain to get clean again.

That stuff should be treated with a rubber treatment

Bingo.................anything porous should be left free of traditional waxes. There are just a handful of Nubas safe for trim, one is S100 found at Harley dealers.
