road tar removal from wheels

I can't seem to get the road tar spots out from the wheels. They look very ugly on nice tl rims. when i push them around, they come off, but leave a black mark which looks like it will never come off. What do you guys use to keep your wheels tar free?

you'lll need a good citrus based "Tar and Wax" remover.. I have a great one at the shop from HiTemps (brand) it works perfectly on certian things like that, not a great degreaser, I have better products, but there is a mark (tar usually) I come across every once and a whiile that barely comes off with my degreasers, but wipes clean with one spray of this cleaner. It's actually much lighter than water so it felt like the bottle was less half full when I picked it up, I found that kind of cool , I had two 1 gallon jugs one with this stuff another had rim cleaner, and the rim cleaner one was twice as heavy, but just as full......I guess it was one of thoes "you had to be there" moments, lol

and to keep the wheels Tar free, add a nice coat of wax to your tims, it will help prevent brake dust and tar sticking to them.
