Rinse or Wipe dry when "Claying"
I know the directions say to wipe off with a towel the clayed section you just did. I plan to wash the car over again with Dawn. Can I rinse off the clayed area instead of wiping? It will save me time for sure.

Yea you can just rinse.
What I did was wash first w/ Z7 (recommended by Sal Zaino - says Dawn only useful when stripping old CARNUBA wax, not zaino (which he says CAN'T be removed by even Dawn)
After rinsing down the car after washing, I clayed with the car wet (obviously still lubricanting the area I was working on with a part z7/part water solution spray). Then I rinsed the car again, in case any particles came off the paint but didn't get in the clay. Then dry with safe materials
