Removing Small Swirl Marks
Removing Small Swirl Marks
Is there any way to remove all the small swirl marks across my car? I looks like crap in the sunlight. Also, has anybody ever repaired leather seats? (or in this case, I think its vinyl) Got any advise? Several years of sitting in the seat has caused it to crack and spread.
As far as the scratches go. Yes, the scratches can be removed. Although not the easiest of jobs if you want a show finish.
I find that using a Random Orbital Buffer, a foam Fine Finish pad, and 3M Swirl Remover should do the job. (3M has swirl removerd for Dark and Light colored cars)
Might not be 100% perfect, but will do a great job at hiding the sheen.
Oh and also, when you buff and remove the Swirl Remover, dont go in circles. Go back and forth in a straight line. If you go in circles, you can see more of any imperfections that you may have been left behind.
