Removing creases in leather?
Removing creases in leather?
I have a couple creases on my driver side seat, I guess the previous owner did not condition the leather as much as he should have.
I am wondering if anyone knows of anyway to remove or at least reduce the visibility of those creases?

If it is creased shoe polish will not help.....I would never use shoe polish to hide marks.
The only thing, shrot of a re-dye job, is to thoroughly clean the leather surface...and I mean thoroughly.
You can use Leatherique's 2 part system which can really help BUT I am not sure if it works on coated leather which I believe you may have.
Cleaning option #2 is to use a steam vapor cleaner to deep clean these creases and emulsify the dirt trapped in the creases. It is the dirt, sweat and gunk from our bodies that builds up in these creases so they become more evident. While these steps may not remove the creases they will reduce their appearance. Steam vapor cleaners are expensive but they are great to have. You can buy some low end models for around $100 at places like Bed Bath and Beyond.
