Recommended cleaning products for interior?

My new 2009 TL is still pretty spotless coming from the dealer... which is the way I want to try to keep it.

What products or methods do you recommend for cleaning the interior? Different or same stuff for the dash and aluminum peices... whats good to clean/preserve the leather?

On my last car I would just use armor-all wipes for interior or leather wipes; will that suffice or I should be looking for something else?

I use Lexol Leather Cleaner and Conditioner for the leather seats and Lexol Vinylex for the trim. I use a damp chamois on the dashboard since I haven't found a suitable product that won't leave that shiny/plasticky finish.

Thank you... anything particular for the aluminum or glossy wood looking stuff?

Also, for glass... good old windex suffice?

I used to use Lexol, but never liked the film it left so I switched to LeatherCPR a few years back and love it.

I use lexol and the stuff works brilliantly. Windex for the glass and a clean towel with hot water for the other trim.

I don't use armor-all for anything. Meguires is decent and not too much $ - from wal-mart.

Or a damp micro fiber towel for dusty dash and trim - if you don't want to use any products on it.

Most recently I have been using Griot's Garage Window Cleaner for the glass. Works pretty well so far. I don't have the glossy wood trim but I just use a damp soft cloth on the aluminum and other trim pieces.

303 Aerospace protectant for the trim. It's is what Acura recommends. Griots leather conditioner for the seats.

I came in here to post that 303 Aerospace is the way to go for dash/plastic trim. It works great and dries to a matte finish, it's also safe on leather but I'd stick to a leather specific product for your seats.

my past 2 tl's have been cared for in the same way....i use a damp microfibre to wipe down the seats, dash, steering wheel and everything else on the interior....maybe a few times a year i take a meguiars gold class leather wipe and wipe down the seats....

thats about it, and my car looks like it did the day i drove it off the showroom floor...

Best interior detail products trim/leather/NAV screen and so on........

When cleaning the inside of any car you have to separate pourous and non pourous trim and materials. Then again separate leather all together. Remember what you use you will be breathing later when the windows are rolled up so be careful!

To CLEAN which is different than to PROTECT non pourous trim/plastic/NAV screen/dash under the windshield/kick panels/ the best is EINSZETT 1z cockpit premium.

To PROTECT those same items once they are cleaned use PRIMA NERO or for the dash under the windshield AEROSPACE 303.

To clean leather before conditioning depends on how bad, dirty or damaged the leather is. Gliptone - Leather Masters - and Leatherique Pristine Clean are the best. Leather Masters you an choose by once again how dirty, worn out, neglected, or damaged your leather is.

To protect use the Leather Masters products to repair and bring back from the " dead " use Leatherique Rejuvenator or Swiss Vax Elephant Fat.
