Question Re: SmartWax Product Line

I was curious if anybody was familiar with the SmartWax Product Line.

http://www.smartwax-usa.com/

Any insight or feedback is appreciated.

Thanks,

I've seen them sponsor some cars at car shows... but never really heard/used them. I'd like to know too!

Hmmm I looked at their product line and found it resembled some of the Chemical Guys stuff so I googled the names....

... I was right! "Smartwax is a product line made and sold by CG geared towards more mainstream hobbyst. The products are more consumer friendly so to speak, but essentiallty same stuff CG sells under different name. Thats what the people at CG told me when I was at their store in Inglewood"

Ahh...I see.

Good looking out there.

They have a factory store kind of close to me so I was thinking of checking it out.

Never heard anybody mention it so I wasn't sure.

I'm still trying to understand what's the point to SmartWax?

Market SmartWax to Autozone, Kragen, Pepboys?

While you market Chemical Guys to professional, specialty suppliers?

If they are just re-branded...what's the downside?

Seems too good to be true.

Bingo! I knew there distributor (SW) when he was out here. he actually used to buy things from me for his own needs. He wanted to know if I was interested in selling SW products. All of the samples he gave me were exactly like Poorboys products, which I was currently selling, but SW cost more. Good stuff, just a tad on the expensive side, great marketing back a few years ago until it was known to be a re branded CG product. Then things kind of went south. Im not knocking either CG's SW or Danase, believe me. CG's makes some fine products!

Heh, I didn't even know SW was a CG rebrand. Either way, CG sells some great stuff.
