Rainguard fixin!

I have the Acura OEM rainguards on my windows. I have noticed, while I can get my car super clean, no swirls, these rainguards are starting to form swirl marks. Question, with these rainguards being plastic is it alright to go ahead and polish these with a buffer? Will this get rid of the swirlmarks? Thanks in advance.

I have buffed out bug deflectors but these seem really soft .. I have been using ClearKotes Vanilla Moose on mine ..

It may be safer to hand polish them instead of taking a buffer to them. If you can get away with using a PC and a 4" pad on it safely, have at it.
