Question on some Scratches...

Juts a quick question, and I dont know how to tackle it.

How do you guys get rid of those pesky scratches that are located right behind the door handles?

I was thinking using compound or polish by hand. But I dont know how well that would turn out.

Help is greatly appreciated

Thats about the only way I know of. Unless your handle depth allows room for a pad and machine to get in there, doing it by hand is really the only option. Use a light grade polish and foam pad, then seal....

Thats what I was afraid of. Unfortunately the TL will not allow for a pad and machine to get under there. Plus the contour is not very beneficial...

Expect an order from me soon!!

When I had my Passat that was black that was a real re-occuring problem. I found a place that sold film that was pre cut to the door cup shape and you applied it .. I polished it out by hand and applied it .. no more issues.

Cost me something like $16 . I don't know why more film suppliers don't get on board with this stuff. $16 was sure worth it.

I have tried that .. you have to be very careful with the speed and polish .. it can remove the scratches but leaves the wierdest holograms you now have to polish out.
