Pompous Ass

I am feeling like a pompous ass everytime I tell a passenger in my WDP (Parchment) to watch where they put their feet. Any idea which product works best at removing dirt on the door floor boards? I have an order of Vinylex on the way and was thinking about getting the wipes version to keep in my car to have handy. Has anyone used the Armor All wipes cleaner and is it any good for your car? Thanks!

I feel the same way... i always tell people to make sure they put their feet on the mats and to not slam my door... I hate inconsiderate fucks... I use a old towl i keep in the trunk for the immediate removal of dirt and then when I get home I use armorall.... I have been thinking of changing to 303, cause I do not like the shiny look the armoreall produces.... what ya'll think?

I just bought the Armor All cleaning wipes (purple package) and used them on my recently dirty floorboard . They worked great and did not leave a shine. I purchased a two pack of cleaning wipes and glass cleaner at my local Target store (I think they were on sale for around $6.00 for both).

I am waiting for a large order of cleaning supplies I purchased online and will use these items for my more detailed washing. The handy wipes I keep in my truck for ease of use and availability. They are also common to find in most stores. Good luck.

Yeah what's the deal with people thinking the only way our doors will close is with a hefty slam. I don't get it and it pisses me off to no end!

Some people just don't even think to respect an automobile, it's just a device that transports them to wherever you're going. I use a general plastic/vinyl cleaner, but sometimes it wont get out the tough scuffs.

I know how that is, the doors on my Legend are very heavy and people slam them all the time. I remind them that the door will close on it's own and you just need to push it in gently. But when we arrive at our destination, I get out, and ... SLAM. It makes me cringe and boils my blood, moreso the lack of respect for my property than the cummulative damage likely being done to the mechanism.

You can use Mr. Clean magic eraser to get the scuffs out.

Slamming doors doesn't hurt the car in any way does it? That doesn't seem to bother me, and I baby my car to death.

What gets me are fingerprints on the black vertical strips that run between your side windows. You know, the part that everyone loves to use to close your doors. I tell my passengers to knuckle the car door closed on the actual metal door part and not up by the window to prevent fingerprints. (I have NBP, so I have fingerprint problems)
