Pollen/dust repellant?

I have a NBP 06 TL. Yes black cars are a pain to keep clean, but this is ridiculous. I can't even wash my car and let it sit for an hour without attracting dust and pollen.

Is their anyway to repell dust, and pollen? I am so spray detailing my car 4 times a day.

I feel your pain. There is no such thing as a pollen and dust repellent for auto paint. Pollen absolutely sticks to anything. However, antistatic quick detailers are great for minimizing the collection of dust and pollen via a static charge. My favorite is Finish Kare 425. Chemical Guys has one that is not bad, Tuf Shine, Adams, and Wolfgang also have antistatic products. Having a quality daily paint maintenance program and garage to park in also helps minimize the dust and pollen collection.

I have heard if chemical guys, but none of these companies sell products in canada, or ship to canada from their websites I don't think. That is the problem.

Its not a good practice to use a QD on a car full of pollen . Pollen is very abrasive and will induce swirling.

Opps sorry .. I missread your original post. "I am so spray detailing my car 4 times a day."

Regardless your still pulling thr pollin particulate over the surface and marring it... thus the swirling in your other thread.

You have fallen prey to what everyone else suffers from as well. Nothing unusual about it. You're just going to have to wash frequently, and wait for the bloom to subside. Sometimes trying to make it better, ends up making it worse. Just hang in there......
Something I have found that helps is using NRWS. I cant explain what helps, but I have noticed when using it, pollen just doesnt adhere like it does when using a QD or spray wax.

New, improved No Rinse™ Wash & Shine is the most technologically advanced car wash system that only requires 1-2 gallons of water to wash the entire car. No Rinse™ Wash & Shine does not require rinsing since there are no soapy surfactants to wash off into the storm drains. This unique product contains substantive polymers which bond to the paint and protect it during the wash. Therefore, No Rinse™ Wash & Shine offers greater protection and lubricity than conventional car washes leaving a sleek & glossy finish behind afterwards. The wastewater in the bucket can be used to water the lawn or disposed of into a sink, where it will be treated! Additional benefits are faster washes, ability to wash anywhere at anytime including washing inside the garage during the cold months, no messy water runoffs, and greater looking car finishes. These are some of the reasons No Rinse™ Wash & Shine is being used by many professional detailers across the country (see testimonials). No Rinse™ Wash & Shine can also be used to wash motorhomes, motorcycles, boats, and planes. Directions: Add 1 oz. of No Rinse™ Wash & Shine to 1-2 gallons of water in the wash bucket. Soak Eco Xtraplush Microfiber Towel in the wash bucket. Wash one car panel. Soak the towel in the wash bucket again and do another panel till the entire vehicle is washed. Use a fresh Xtraplush Microfiber Towel to dry the car.

Right again Dale. I never just wipe pollen or dust off my car without prepping first. Duster, Air Blower, and Power Washer are examples of tools I use for prepping prior to QD'ing.
