Polished - 2010 Infiniti G37 Coupe

First, I apologize for the lack of before shots, it was a really hard color to capture imperfection.
So, here is a 2010 blue slate G37 coupe, it was bought new a month ago and has around 2,000 miles on it. It was an extremely hard (and confusing) car to polish. Why? Because it scratches easier than a Honda, but resists polishing like an Audi, plus my polish gums up on the paint if it got too hot, so it was quite a challenge. I seriously thought about whipping about my Makita for this one, but decided against it.

Anyways, enough about the car, time for some pictures!

Wash - Cobra MF chenille mitt for body, cheap pepboy's mitt for wheels, P21S wheel gel cleaner, AGO tire brush/E-Z mini wheel brush, ONR @ quick detailer strength as presoak/ONR @ car wash strength.

Polish - Griot's 6 inch ROP, Griot's 3 inch ROP, various 6.5/5.5/3 inch pads, various MF towels, Prima Swirl + Prima Epic.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.
Any tips on how to polish infiniti paint? I found it to be quite a bit of a challenge......

my only tip would be to move your operation into the garage, and not polish in the sun...

what machine did you use...

His garage was full of boxes and what not (it was more of a storage for him and his family than a garage), so I had no choice but to do it on his driveway.
Machine used was my Griot's 6 inch ROP. (Random Orbital Polisher)

maybe pick up an EZ UP tent for these types of situtions?
