Polish or Wax?

Polish or Wax?
I'm a new CL-P owner (silver). Some people wax, others polish. I'm confused about which one is better. Why one over the other? Can the experts shed some light on this?

Actually, you do both.
You want to clean the paint (paint cleaner or cleanser); then polish the paint to make it shine and shine and shine; and then wax it to provide a sealer on top of the nice clean, polished, shiny paint.
