To polish or not??
To polish or not??
Hey i just got my 03 tl-s and am going to give it its first makeover and am going to be using nxt wash, mother's clay, and nxt wax. I was wondering if it is necessary to add a polishing step in between claying and waxing the car. Let me know what you think, and also how often do you wax with nxt ive heard the durability may not be so great. thanks for the input
How's the paint?
Did the previous owner keep her in good/great condition? Is the paint heavily oxidized? Swirls? Scratches?
Some more detail about the condition of the car would be helpful. You would take extra steps for a daily-use or poorly maintained car, more than you might for a weekend, garage-kept car.

Agreed, but even if it has been maintained adequatley, as a new owner, im sure you would want your preferred products on there anyway. If it was up to me, I would start from scratch. And im not talking about a Dawn wash either.....Leave that for plates...
Go with a wash, clay, maybe some Deep Crystal Cleaner, and then your NXT.
