Plasti-Dip Care & Feeding

Someone must have asked this before but search isn't finding it.

I recently dipped the beak on my 2017 RDX and it looks great but now I'm wondering if there are tips to 'keep' it looking good as long as possible.
Will trying to clean bugs off with a microfiber mitt (while washing) also peel the dip?
What happens if wax gets on it?
Anything else?
I know I'll have to peel it back off at some point but I'd like to push that time out as far as possible.

Thanks!

Wow, thank you Justnspace for the links! I should have known 'there's a tool for that.'
Here's a link from one of the videos for a special rubber wash mitt designed for use on the Plasti Dip finish: https://www.dipyourcar.com/products/...=1268631011343

not too sure how well it does, or if it's just marketing or what...
I've only dipped a few things and didnt like the rubbery coating or the way it looked, and promptly removed it.

but at least the videos answered some of your questions.
at $10 bucks, it's not horribly expensive and worth the try, because I had the same concerns as you...a microfiber cloth will leave fibers and even accelerate the finish on the beak
