Pitted headlight covers

Does anyone have any advice on how to remove pit marks on our headlight covers? They look like they've been sandblasted...

I remember hearing something about using a super fine sandpaper and then spraying them with a clear plastic spray.

I came across this just yesterday while researching portable GPS systems:

I have never used it but thought it might be helpful.

Excel - what do you suggest for protection, besides clear bra? I have been using 303 on the clear plastic.

Well, short of using a CB, theres no guarantee any protection will keep them last forever. However, regular use of a mild polish or paint cleaner to provide optimum looks and light radiance, then protect with a sealant or Nuba. I would think a sealant would last longer though......They (lights) should be included in your regular surface maintenance anyway.....
Cleaned lenses really add some *bling* to a vehicle.....
