It might've just been someone dropping a bit on your car while passing, because I don't know why a dealership would have paint thinner close to ANY bumper in the service bay.

No, the "gum wash" is a type of paint thinner. So, they used that to get the pink stain off.



But, yeah...glad it worked out.

Did you/they re-wash after using the "gum wash" It may have removed any wax/sealant as well that you had on that area. I would re-apply my wax/sealant to that area...if you have not done so already.
