Perforated Leather Stretching at Seams

Hi - my ebony leather on my S seems to be pulling at the seams near the holes/perforations on the passanger seat. The car is new but my 40lb dog was on the seat several times (on a blanket). Now he sits on a cushion on the seat. But, has anyone else had this pulling at the perforations?? It shows sort of white around the holes in the ebony leather. Will conditioner fix this or could it be a defect (or was it the dog the couple of times he was on the seat although it was protected)??
Thanks for any help, Rustito

Well, thats almost certainly a defect. If you go to your dealer, make sure to leave ot any info about the dog, and tell them that it has just been under normal wear. I have a similiar problem, but in my case the drver side seat has te side airbag casing poking holes as it protrudes. I am currently negotiating rupholstering the car with my dealer. They will pobably do the same for you.
