For People Who Use Zaino. How many times per year?
Hello,
I just got my Zaino starter kit.
This is the process I went through:
1. Wash with Dawn.
2. Clay with Z18. (With lubrication using some Z7 mixed with water)
3. Wash with Z7
4. Dry and then apply Z5 with ZFX
5. Z6
5. Z5
6. Z6
7. Z2
8. Z6
I have an 06 TL Royal Blue Pearl. Due to my inexperience in washing cars, it took me a good 9 hours...
Claying and Polishing took the longest naturally.
Anyways, for all you who use Zaino, how many times do you perform this Zaino process each year?
Some have told me they do it in early spring and also in the fall just before Winter.
That sounds like waxing twice a year. Is that typical?
Thanks.

Just recently, I washed, clayed, polished, two layers of Z5 pro, Clear seal, Z8. I'm curious to see how long it will last with washing once a week with a Z8 wipe down.

realistically, using Z2/Z5 two or three times per year is plenty. maintaining as said above will keep everything in check as long as you have the vehicle. Z8 once per month is probably plenty...it is a very durable, lasting product in its own right.

Z8 is a spray sealant but similar in use to Z6 as you can use it just like Z6. I think it gives a much better shine than Z6 and has pretty good durability for a spray sealant. The downside is that it's more expensive.
