Peanut butter cleans!

I was cleaning my windshield over the weekend, and there was some bug guts/tree sap stuck on the window. The stuff was hard & couldn't be removed easily. I checked the internet, and peanut butter was suggested as a natural alternative to the chemicals you can find at Pep Boys, Kragens, etc.

I put some peanut butter on the window, left the car out for the day, and in the afternoon, wiped off everything off. The window was left sparkling clean and smelling good!

I wonder if peanut butter could be used as a replacement for claying the car.

peanut butter also works great for removing white residue left by wax or polish on your black or rubber trim pieces.
