Pam spray and bugs!!

I read an article about someone recommending applying pam cooking spray on your front bumper/grill/hood/side mirrors to keep bugs from sticking to your car. Anyone try this? Does it work? Is it BS? Does it harm the finish/paint of the car? Maybe I should test it on my GF's car. hehehe. My GF's car's front end looks like a bug cemetary by the time we drive down to H-town.

Well, I can agree with you on bugs in Houston. I am looking for an alternative as well. Have you heard of a bug/rock guard that could be put on the front? I know this sounds harsh, since all pickups have it, but we do need a better option, don't we.

I have heard mention that people have used PAM spray to protect the car nose from bugs, but that was on the typical domestic beast, and not high-end paint like our TSX..
