Paint question...
Paint question...
Had some paint work done on the Ac back in February. Paint manufacturer and body guy say to wait 60 days to wax. Would that 60 day period also apply to sealer (DG 105) ? Spring has sprung here early and it's time clay, seal and wax...
Thanks again for the help.

key word "sealant". no sealants, no wax. do so before the painter's recommended time for the paint to breathe...is not a good thing. bubbles may form if the solvents are not allowed to "gas out". better to be safe than sorry. i've read over countless threads on fresh paint care. paint manufacturer's and their user's know their products best. so adhere to the cure times.
i'm still waiting for my 90 days to be up on mine...however, my car has become a garage queen since her last incident in january. she only comes out to play on nice days.
leave the paint be until the 60 days are up...then you can detail. you really want to be safe wait 90 days. i'll be over my 90 days by may...so i'll be hitting up the areas of my car that need to be "sealed" at that time.
