Paint Polished - 2003 Camry
Paint Polished - 2003 Camry
This is a 7 years old Camry you are about to see, it has numerous rock chips and scuffs all around the car.
Keep in mind that this is a daily driver, and the paint was badly oxidized in a few places.
I opted to 1 step this car as far as correction went, I'd say this is around a 70% correction level (If I got a scratch out in the process, then great; If I didn't get it out in the process, well.......) The owner was quite happy with the way it came out, and as long as he was happy, I've done my job.
* Keep in mind of 2 things
1. The title reads "paint polished", not "detailed". So before anyone says hey why didn't you scrub and condition the wheel well/clean tires, or hey why didn't you tape up/restore exterior trims pieces. Read the title of the thread again, this was NOT a detail! Rather, it's just a "paint polished"
Now it's time for some pictures!
This is NOT a dirty hood, it's oxidized:

This is a comparison, left side is polished, right side unpolished:

Before (I forgot which panel this is lol)

After (Same panel as above)

Random before shots that showed overall condition of the car:

Headlight before:

Headlight after a few quick passes (no restoration performed):

Door handle area before:

Door handle area after (prior to the space underneath door handle was polished):

Trunk before:

Trunk 50/50:

The rest are all after shots (but pre-dust clean up):
