Paint correction help..
Hello,
Well, I really need some help. I had a scratch on my door (07 CGP TSX), and since I'm not at home, I decided to go to a full service car wash to have them try to remove it. Anyway's, they used some kind of a polish or rubbing compound on a applicator pad and buffed most of it out. Well, it looked great until I saw the sun beading directly on that door. I can clearly see where he applied the polish to buff out the scratch. He didn't put any kind of a finish or anything on after he tried to polish out the scratch. So, now I'm wondering what I do to correct this. Is there anything that I can purchase and or use and apply by hand? I have a Porter Cable at home, but I'm far from home right now. If anyone could offer some advice, that would be great.
Thanks,
Jeff

It is difficult to anayze without pics.
Are you on a business trip or vacation?
I would wait till you got home and use a PC to polish out the whole door. You could try out Meguiars Scratch X with a foam pad by hand and follow with a wax/sealant if you can not wait.

So, I took some Scratch Out by KIT and did half of the door. I did it twice, and now I can't seem to see the blemish that was left from the polish. Will the Scratch Out permanently remove that blemish, or will I still need to polish it out with the PC?
Thanks much!
Jeff
