Paint chip touchup

I recently touched up some paint chips or redone them. Near the grill i painted it poorly and now i would like to know if some sort of polisher will hide my mistakes. I thought that Colour magic that hide swirl marks can blend my paint chip to a glossy finish. Are there any other products out there that can get rid of the harsh brush marks and daps i left behind.
I will try to cover it again with some clearcoat leaving behind a raised surface of the paint chip area.

Here is my plan. I went to NAPA and bought a couple of sheets of 1500 grit. Will use hole punch to make a few discs. Contact cement discs to pencil eraser. Sand, polish, and, for me, Zaino. Good luck. With our paint, you'll have plenty of opportunities to hone your skills.

Thanks it worked i used 1000 grit then 1500 grit sandpaper. The clear coat around the painted repaired area went dull from a glossy shine, it got me worried. Once i used some Turtle Wax polishing compound i polished then waxed it with Turtle wax with teflon it came out great.
I know turtle wax is to abrasive but this was some old stuff i had laying around.
What should i use for a polisher for my car Meguiar's NXT, or ZYMOL, Scratch X, and for a wax maybe something with carnuba Nu-Finish or Meguiar 3 stage?
